Alkalinity increaser contains sodium bicarbonate.
1kgs per pot.
Low total alkalinity (TA) may cause spa water to be corrosive and the pH level difficult to maintain. Total alkalinity should be maintained at between 80-150mg/1 (ppm). Test the total alkalinity level of the spa water if it is below 80mg/1 (ppm) use Alkalinity Increaser to increse the level.
Always adjust your alkalinity before your pH.
If your alkalinity and pH are not balanced correctly then you will not get a correct chlorine reading.
